font-size: 10pt; color: #000080;\">Quando uno script come quello di &#8216;<strong>Third Person&#8217;<\/strong> arriva sulla scrivania di un produttore sono due gli scenari possibili: o lo si riduce in mille pezzettini dopo aver letto le prime righe, o lo si consegna a un regista degno di questo nome e che abbia un certo gusto per le storie d\u2019impostazione corale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt; color: #000080;\">Nessuna delle due opzioni \u00e8 stata seguita, dato che \u00e8 stato lo stesso Paul Haggis a scrivere (e riscrivere) &#8216;Third Person&#8217;. <strong>Un film completamente sbagliato, dove neanche la regia avrebbe potuto giocare un ruolo chiave nel trasmettere quel calore emotivo insistentemente ricercato.<\/strong> Il film soffre, infatti, fin dalle prime scene del difetto di voler subito suggerire come si evolveranno le vicende, ma soprattutto di svelare quale sia la chiave attraverso cui interpretare l\u2019intero (multi)racconto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt; color: #000080;\">Regista del sopravvalutato \u201cCrash \u2013 Contatto fisico\u201d, Haggis \u00e8 passato poi al dramma d\u2019inchiesta (caruccio, ma tutto sommato innocuo) \u201cNella valle di Elah\u201d, per poi concedersi un incursione nel thriller (ir)realistico di \u201cThe Next Three Days\u201d, risalente ormai al 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt; color: #000080;\">La pellicola arriva nelle sale italiane a ben due anni dalla fine delle riprese, con lo stesso regista impegnato pi\u00f9 volte a scrivere e riscrivere un finale, che anche fosse stato perfetto non avrebbe risollevato le sorti di un prodotto molto ambizioso, ma in realt\u00e0 blando e soporifero nelle finalit\u00e0. D\u2019altronde quando \u00e8 lo stesso autore a dubitare della propria creatura, non ci si pu\u00f2 aspettare nulla di buono.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt; color: #000080;\"><strong>Senza scendere troppo nei dettagli<\/strong>, si seguono tre storie d\u2019amore, pur nelle sue diverse sfumature, in tre citt\u00e0 del mondo: da Roma a Parigi per arrivare a New York; Haggis, per\u00f2, sceglie di optare per un montaggio assassino che non permette allo spettatore di affezionarsi nemmeno a uno dei suoi tanti personaggi, finendo per rendere il tutto molto difficile da digerire, soprattutto quando la durata oltrepassa abbondantemente le due ore.
